Sample Transfer Plans
Where do you want to transfer?
If you already have a transfer school in mind, your advisor will customize a transfer plan for that college or university. BHC also has many transfer guides and agreements already established with four-year institutions in a variety of majors.
“BHC social sciences are the foundation upon which I built my academic and professional careers. This is true of both the coursework and mentorship by the staff. Lessons from both carry over many years later.”
Department Highlights
Political Science Internships
Students enrolled in the Selected Studies in Political Science (POLS 258) may work as interns for the local office of the district’s member of the U.S. House of Representatives. Several political science students also have worked locally on campaigns for local, state and national candidates.
Asian Studies
We have several alumni of the East-West Center’s Asian Studies Development Program which promotes better relations and understanding among the people and nations of the United States, Asia and the Pacific through cooperative study, research and dialogue.
Student Clubs and Events
Faculty serve as advisers for social science-related clubs and events, which offer students opportunities for field trip and campus events. These include the history film series, Women’s History Month, the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and the Student Government Association.
